- Our theme for the month of August is celebrating God’s provisions for us and creating new opportunities in these times. The scripture reference is taken from Isaiah 43:19.
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
- We want to remind you of opportunities to continue your worship experience throughout the week:
- Join in for our bi-weekly prayer conference calls on Mondays from 6:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m. The conference call number is 605-472-5360, Access code 326031.
- Join us for our corporate fast on Tuesdays, beginning at 6:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m.
- Join us in the main sanctuary on Sunday mornings for prayer service beginning at 10:30 a.m. through 10:50 a.m.
- Join us for Friday night prayer services every 1st and 3rd Friday, starting at 7:00 p.m. The next service will be held on Friday, August 7th.
- Bible study will resume on Tuesday, September 8th.
- Children’s church will resume on Sunday, September 13th.
UPCOMING EVENTS
- August 16th – Join us for our back-to-school event immediately after morning service. Children are invited to enjoy fun, games, snacks, and a book bag giveaway. Each child must be present to receive a book bag.
- August 23rd – Morning service will be held in the church parking lot. Volunteers are needed to help prepare for the event. Additional information will be forthcoming.
- Save the date for our 2026 Annual Women Conference to be held Friday, September 18th – Sunday, September 20th. This year we have a Paint, Praise and Pray Workshop on Saturday, September 19th. The cost is $35 per adult, $20 per child. Payment plans have already started and will be managed via cash app or electronic payment options. Plans start at as little as $7 per month; however, the full amount can be paid at any time. Please indicate on the envelope or in the memo section that your payment is going towards the “Paint and Pray Workshop.” The payment deadline is Tuesday, September 1st. Please notify Sister Barbara Roberson if you plan to participate in the prepayment plan or if you wish to pay in full to ensure your funds are appropriately allocated to this event.
