The month of June is upon us. Our theme for the month of June is “Remaining Joyful”. The scripture reference is taken from Romans 15:13 and it reads as such:

Romans 15:13 – Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

We want to remind you of opportunities to continue your worship experience throughout the week:

Join in for our bi-weekly prayer conference calls on Mondays from 6:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m. The conference call number is 605-472-5360, Access code 326031.
Join for our corporate fast on Tuesday from 6:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. This week the fast will commence on Monday, June 1^st and conclude on Wednesday, June 3^rd.
Join us for Bible study on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. held in the main sanctuary and streamed on the church’s website.
Join us in the main sanctuary on Sunday mornings for prayer service beginning at 10:30 a.m. through 10:50 a.m.
Join us for Friday night prayer services every 1^st and 3^rd Friday, starting at 7:00 p.m.

Children’s church is held on the second, third and fourth Sundays of each month.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Save the date for this year’s Vacation Bible School (VBS). Dates are July 13^th – July 17^th. Registration will begin June 1^st. The first joint planning meeting will take place on Sunday, May 31 at 1:30 p.m. here at SECF. We are still in need of volunteers to help teach, set up, serve, be a part of recovery efforts each evening and more. Please consider signing up to be a part of the support committee with Dr. First Lady. We look forward to having a fantastic VBS this year! Thank you in advance for your participation and support.

Save the date for our 2026 Annual Women Conference to be held September 17^th – September 20^th. This year we have a Paint, Praise and Pray Workshop on Saturday, September 19^th. The cost is $35 per adult, $20 per child. Payment plans have already started and will be managed via cash app or electronic payment options. Plans start at as little as $7 per month; however, the full amount can be paid at any time. Please indicate on the envelope or in the memo section that your payment is going towards the “Paint and Pray Workshop.” The payment deadline is September 1^st. Please notify Sister Barbara Roberson if you plan to participate in the prepayment plan or if you wish to pay in full to ensure your funds are appropriately allocated to this event.
