M E R R Y    C H R I S T M A S ! 

  • During the month of December, we will continue to focus on expressing gratitude for the goodness of God.  The scripture reference is taken from Psalm 136:1, and it reads as such: 

Psalm 136:1 – O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endurethforever. 

  • We want to remind you of opportunities to continue to serve God throughout the week with us: 
  • Join in for our bi-weekly prayer conference calls on Mondays and Fridays from 6:00 pm-6:30 pm. The conference call number is 605-472-5360, Access code 326031. 
  • Join in for our corporate fast on Tuesdays from 6:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m.  
  • Please note that we are currently on the winter break for Bible study and will resume on Tuesday, January 20th at 7:00 p.m. 
  • Children’s church is held on the second, third and fourth Sundays of each month. 
  • We encourage you to visit our new website at SECFWORSHIP.org. Let us know what you think and if you have any suggestions. We would love to hear from you.  The old website will be available until December 31st
  • It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of Brother Rick Hammiel, father of Pastor Derrick Hammiel.  Please keep the Pastor and his family in your prayers as they navigate this time of transition. Further details regarding services will be shared at a later time. 

UPCOMING SECF EVENTS 

  • Immediately following service today, we will host our annual Family and Friends Christmas Celebration.  Come and share in an afternoon filled with joy, laughter, music, good food, and holiday cheer.  Hopefully, you have brought your ugly sweater for the contest. It will be interesting to see who will win the contest this year!  
  • We invite you to join us on Wednesday, December 31st at 10:00 p.m. for our Watch Night Service as we gather in worship, reflection and thanksgiving to welcome the New Year in the presence of God.  Come expecting a powerful night of prayer, praise, testimonies, and a special message of hope as we cross over into a blessed New Year.  Bring your family and friends – everyone is welcome.  This will be a joint service with The Holy Sanctuary.Refreshments and fellowship will follow the service in the fellowship hall. Let’s end the new year with gratitude and begin the new one with renewed faith and purpose.
