HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!

Our theme for the month of June is “Remaining Joyful”. The scripture reference is taken from Romans 15:13 and it reads as such:

Romans 15:13 – Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

We want to remind you of opportunities to continue your worship experience throughout the week:

Join in for our bi-weekly prayer conference calls on Mondays from 6:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m. The conference call number is 605-472-5360, Access code 326031.
Join us for our corporate fast on Tuesday from 6:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m.
Join us for Bible study on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. held in the main sanctuary and streamed on the church’s website.
Join us in the main sanctuary on Sunday mornings for prayer service beginning at 10:30 a.m. through 10:50 a.m.
Our Friday Night Fire prayer Services schedule has been altered temporarily. The next two (2) services, July 3^rd, and July 17^th, have been cancelled due to the upcoming holiday and Vacation Bible School. We will resume our usual schedule on Friday, August 7^th.

Children’s church is held on the second, third and fourth Sundays of each month.

REMINDER:

The 4th Sunday is Youth and Young Adult Sunday. Youth and young adults will be leading Praise and Worship and the Offertory part of the service. Please continue to pray for and support our youth and young adults as they grow in their service unto God and into pillars of His Kingdom.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Vacation Bible School (VBS) Updates:

We are three weeks away… Hooray! Registration is open and available on the church’s website and there is also a sign-up sheet in the vestibule. Please register as soon as you can and invite others. Be mindful to select only 1 registration method and sign up once to avoid duplicate registrations.

This year there will be a Museum of the Bible tour to conclude our VBS experience on Saturday, July 18^th. Please include your interest in this tour on the VBS sign-up sheet. Cost is approximately $21 per adult / $18 per child. This cost includes 2 themed guided tours and one activity. There are a number of additional activities at the Museum that may be of interest to you. Feel free to add on to your experience.

Planning Committee Members and Support Teams, please be on the lookout for contact from Dr. First Lady confirming your specific roles and duties during this week of exciting events. Thanks so much for your support!

Save the date for our 2026 Annual Women Conference to be held September 17^th – September 20^th. This year we have a Paint, Praise and Pray Workshop on Saturday, September 19^th. The cost is $35 per adult, $20 per child. Payment plans have already started and will be managed via cash app or electronic payment options. Plans start at as little as $7 per month; however, the full amount can be paid at any time. Please indicate on the envelope or in the memo section that your payment is going towards the “Paint and Pray Workshop.” The payment deadline is September 1^st. Please notify Sister Barbara Roberson if you plan to participate in the prepayment plan or if you wish to pay in full to ensure your funds are appropriately allocated to this event.
