March 1st Announcements

March 1, 2026

For the month of March, we want to march by faith. The scripture reference is taken from 2 Corinthians 5:7, and it reads as such:

2 Corinthians 5:7 – For we walk by faith, not by sight.

We want to remind you of opportunities to continue to serve God throughout the week with us:

Join in for our bi-weekly prayer conference calls on Mondays from 6:00 pm-6:30 pm. The conference call number is 605-472-5360, Access code 326031.
Join in for our corporate fast on Tuesdays from 6:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. Today is the first day of our fasting for the month of March. If you are participating, we encourage you to begin today and continue through Tuesday, March 3^rd as we seek the Lord together.
Join us for Bible study on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. held in the main sanctuary and streamed on the church’s website.
Effective March 1^st, Sunday morning prayer services are held at 10:30 a.m. through 10:50 a.m.
Effective March 6^th, Friday night prayers services will be held every 1^st and 3^rd Friday, starting at 7:00 p.m.

Our children’s church is held on the second, third and fourth Sundays of each month.

As mentioned previously, SECF has been selected to receive a free AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) It is a portable, life saving device used to treat sudden cardiac arrest by analyzing the heart’s rhythm and delivering an electric shock to restore normal function. It can guide users through voice prompts making it safe for untrained bystanders to operate. Having AEDs in public places increases survival rates. To receive this device, we are required to attend a training course, requiring a minimum of 50 participants, which will be held here at the church. The date is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, March 7^th at 11:00 a.m. A sign-up sheet will be in the vestibule. This is a great opportunity for the church, please consider joining us for this training. We need everyone on board. Thanking you in advance for your time and consideration.

We want to thank all the women who came out to the LOVE Ministry’s 1^st quarterly meeting last Saturday. As promised, there is a handout summarizing the key points of discussion available for pickup immediately following the service. If you attended the meeting, please complete our survey about your experience. This will allow us to build upon things that make our meetings meaningful and supportive of the women in the SECF church family as well as women in our families, friendship circles, and community.

There will be a brief 10 to 15 minute meeting for the Leadership team immediately following the morning service.

The next leadership team meeting will be held on Friday, March 13^th at 6:00 p.m.
